Operation and Supervision
Integration of the PV plant in the R & L Solar Solution Supervision Center in Tokyo, with web customer access ;
Full supervision of the available data in order to detect at its very first occurrence, done by a Central Supervision Center, 365 days per year, from sunrise to sunset;
Continuous control, monitoring and data acquisition of PV plants. Any dysfunction appearing on the remote control system shall be immediately treated. If a dysfunction cannot be solved remotely, the remote operator immediately generates and transfers the work order to the unscheduled maintenance team.
Preventive Maintenance
The basic preventive maintenance program to adopt shall be the one agreed with the customer. For the purpose, R&L suggests an initial Preventive Maintenance to be used and subjected to changes resulting from manufacturers’ recommendations, wherever applicable.
It shall also be improved by additional actions to benefit final results whenever required.
Modules cleaning with the information on the need of cleanings by making its cost-benefit analysis and the follow-up of the dirtiness impact level.
Rodents prevention and disinfestation with preconized measures, if necessary
Thermography inspection of modules every year and when it is proven a stable reliability level, at least every two years by specialized R&L engineer;
Corrective Maintenance
R & L proposes to perform or assume, included in the price of the contract, the attendance, explanation and/or local intervention focused on the efficient re-establishment of the normal operating conditions and work labor for light repairs of equipment’s. R & L is focused to work on the reasonability and transparency way in the establishment of a clear commitment on performance of the plants referred.

Technical Team and Chief Engineer:
All the Responsibilities of the Chief Engineer to provide the required service to costumer can also be ensured by R & L. Thus, the complete coordination of all technicians on-site and the remaining structure required to implement all the activities defined within an O&M contract and legal requirements.
Exceptionally, and for the sake of competitiveness and efficiency, R & L shall share synergies with a local external Chief Engineer, but ensuring tasks planning and coordination of works execution in line with major O&M plan of activities for the specific site.

Thanks to seamless remote monitoring with automated error analysis, we are able to ensure optimal steady-state operation and, if necessary, to implement immediate measures via our local service network in an emergency. Our goal is to be on-site before any faults occur.

Monitoring Reports

Uniform, standardized reporting with in-depth analyses shows the actual yield and the effective capacity utilization of your photovoltaic power plant whatever the weather conditions are. The reports are issued daily, monthly, quarterly and year on year base.

This means you have full transparency at all times.

Your Own Login

Your online access to the R & L Solar Solution Control Center allows you to view all key perform¬ance data at any time. All operating data and statistics are updated at short intervals and logged. So you can monitor all components in real time, independent of their manufacturer.

Annual Inspection

Whether occupational health and safety or fire safety management, the inspection requirements placed on operators of photovoltaic power plants are very strin¬gent. Our expert staff carries out annual inspection and maintenance checks all the operating hardware and coordinates with the certified sub-contractors and the utility company involved. We make sure you are in compliance with all regulations, including the statutory audits and documentation.

Medium Voltage Maitenance

All grid-connected photovoltaic power plants are linked up to the high-voltage network and are therefore a danger zone. Only qualified personnel are permitted access. There are extensive regulations governing the switching station itself. Maintenance must be carried out according to each Utility Provider regulation and proof provided of any measures taken – such as changing the transformer oil, checking resistance to short-circuiting etc. revenue and hefty fines.

PV Site Maintenance

High grass on the site and bushes and trees in the immediate vicinity can have a substantially negative impact on out¬put. Site maintenance therefore involves cutting the grass and weed clearance. All work must be carried out in accordance with the regulations on occupational health and safety and the zoning ordinance, even if entrusted to a sub-contractor. If the customer wishes, we will also clean the modules.

Inverter Maintenance

The inverter is the heart of the solar power plant. An ideal operating environment improves its efficiency and is the estimative precondition for asserting warrantee claims against the manufacturer. Consequently, the inverter station must have proper heating and cooling systems. Regularly exchanging the filter mats is also recom¬mended, along with software updates and the cleaning of the inverter’s compo¬nents. We can take care of this.

Repair Costs flat rate

Instead of setting aside large amounts of reserves, our customers can protect themselves against high repair costs by paying flat rate. As a result, the costs are calculable for the plant’s life cycle and can be included in the profitability projec¬tions.

Low Voltage Supply

Why not use the solar electricity you pro¬duce to run your own operations? De-pending on prevailing regulations in the respective country and the plant’s technical configurations, we can feed the electricity required through the plant’s own cable connected up to the main grid. We will negotiate the best possible conditions with the local energy supplier and sup¬port you in all administrative tasks.
